The data conversion backup file is typically in your original companydata folder (not CONVERT, which you just created). The default file namefor conversion backups is BackupV#.ptb(where # indicates the current version number—forexample, BackupV9.ptb). Sage 50backup files use the *.ptb file extension.
If you previously selected the Includecompany name check box in the Data Conversion wizard, the backupfile will be prefaced by your old company name.
To restore all Intelligence Reporting reports, select the Intelligence Reporting Reports checkbox. Standard Intelligence Reporting reports will be replaced with the most recent versions available, but custom reports will be replaced with the set of reports included in the backup.
Warning! If you choose to restore Sage 50 Intelligence Reporting reports, any custom Intelligence Reporting reports you have changed since the backup was made will be overwritten and any new custom Intelligence Reporting reports will be lost.
Before restoring your Intelligence Reporting reports, you may want to export your custom reports and save them in a different location. You can import them back in after restoring the company if you need to. To export and import Sage 50 Intelligence Reporting reports, go to Reports & Forms>Report Manager.

Let's say you had 2 custom Sage 50 Intelligence Reporting reports when you made the backup. In the current state of your company, you have 3 custom Intelligence Reporting reports - the two that exist in the backup, which were edited after the backup was made, and one new report. If you choose to include Intelligence Reporting reports when you restore the backup, the new custom report will be deleted and the two existing custom reports will be replaced with the reports from the backup.
During the restore process, Sage 50 displays a progress indicator.
Note: Dependingon the quantity of data, the restoration process may take a while to complete.Be patient and do not interrupt the process. If you interrupt the restorationprocess, you might damage the data.
After you have restored your company data, the DataConversion wizard will appear again.

'Can I install a standalone version on several computers?'
No, as it will constitutes a breach of the license agreement. Also, you will have problems registering or installing the product.

'How can I indentify Standalone version versus a multi-user value pack?'
Both are very similar in appearance, the product code for value pack is PCWMU2003RT while the standalone version is PCW2003RT. Secondly, you should be able to find a label on the value pack clearly tells you this is 'Value Pack, Multi-user Functionality up-to 5 users.' Also, there will be slight difference in the serial number.

'My company has several computers, which product is cheaper?'
If you have 2 or 3 computers, you may buy a copy of 'Sage 50 Peachtree Complete' for each computer. However, if you have 3 or more computers connected in a network, the 'Sage 50 Peachtree Complete Value Pack' will be the best choice.

'What is 'Multi-user Value Pack'?'
Sage 50 Peachtree Complete Accounting Multi-user Value Pack actually is the 'multi-user' license, that allows you to run Sage 50 Peachtree on an unlimited number of workstations within a local area network. That is why value pack is more expensive but most cost effective option. The retail stores sell single-user only, which will not work in a multi-user environment.
