As a long time Daoc player i am just happy the game is still around but this patch is taking forever! A few years back i asked if we could do a live Q&A session with some devs and got zero response. This would only take 1-2 hours every few months to do and i think it would be good for the community as well as Broadsword. Dark Age of Camelot releases version 1.109. With today's version 1.109 being the latest example. The patch features a few class balance tweaks, including the addition of a reactive.
This is a freeshard DAoC server. Information of the server can be found at http://daoc-origins.net/ or just google Gensis DAoC if you prefer. DAoC can be freely downloaded, the client, from the official game sites website. Information on getting set up to play on the Gensis server can be found here: http://daoc-origins.net/download/ . Just download the game via the official download, patch the game via the official loader, download the gensis launcher, click the Options tab, then you can check to see if you have the appropriate game.dll file, if not, within the launcher you can achieve the appropriate file(s).
The community is rather small. There are members of the game that speak English, German, French, and other languages. Mainly English is spoken, rarely I will find someone who doesn't speak English. I only know some Japanese and speak English natively so uselessly I just don't communicate or google translate if needed.

Basically, the population isn't that big, only around 300+ players can be found online during peak times from what I have seen personally. However, you can level. You can find groups. The level 5-9 battlegrounds and 40-44 battlegrounds are the most popular and during peak hours it seems there is usually 1 full group at least in the Hibernia realm, which I play on.
I wanted to get the word out about this server as I have had a great time and I wouldn't mind having great battlegrounds and even realm vs. realm experiences which I think having a larger population is necessary for this, though you can have good RvR experience(s), they just seem to occur no where near as frequently as I would like to see/experience because of the (relative to this aspect of this game) low population.

- Undetected 'Speedhack' which works by teleporting instead of walking
- Jump to x-y-z gloc positions
- Jump to a list of preset locations (which can be edited and added new ones)
- 24/7 ingame daytime
- Removed falldamage
- Turn left/right while stunned/mezzed (numpad keys 4/6, can't be changed yet)
- You can select the process that you wanna port with, in case you use multiple DAoC clients
As i said, this program also works on live servers, undetected. However you may use it at your own risk. One sidenote on live servers is, if you are teleporting too fast or too far away (like >5k locs/sec) you will get disconnected. You can still use it on live to travel fast, because if you login again you will be at the place where you ported before. On freeshards there isn't such a protection yet, so you can jump as far or as fast as you want. One funny thing on live is, if you PvE with flyhack, the mobs can't hit you, so its quite easy to lvl up a ranged char. Just don't get caught by other players, they might report you.
