This simple (simple!) utility converts all the LSU files in a directoryto wave files. LSUs are used largely by microcontrollers (especiallylightsabers) and are raw 16 bit, mono, 44100Hz data. This utilityadds the WAV wrapper and writes a new file.

Lightsaber Sound The first thing that needs to be said here is that all illuminated saber sound effects are built on the work of Ben Burtt. Just as George Lucas invented the lightsaber, Ben Burtt invented lightsaber sounds. The greatest sound effects of a lightsaber and more are here: Lightsaber plus More FX. Instructions for download because it wouldn't work if you just click and open: Right-click and Save Target As to your desktop. Open file from your desktop. That's everything you should know. Notes
If you get an error about a missing DLL, you probably need theMicrosoft Redistributables. You can download and install here:

The original lsu files won't be changed. wav files will be createdand placed in the same directory.

Click on the 'releases' tab in github, and download 'lsuToWave.exe'.It's an excutable, not an installer.
Using
The easy way
Place the .exe file in the directory with your LSU files. Doubleclick to run it. WAV files will be generated.

Note:

Installation:
Put the sound wav files in your Skyrim/Data/Sound/Fx/wpn/Magicka Sabers folder
Sound sets:
Replace the files in the default with the files in the sound set of your choice
Extras:
Here is where you can create your own custom lightsaber sound using any sound set or combination!
Add the below files to the Skyrim/Data/Sound/Fx/wpn/Magicka Sabers folder where you put the default files!
Swings:
You can add whatever swings you want to your liking just MAKE SURE YOU RENAME THEM TO fx_swing_saber_0x X MEANING THE NUMBER OF THE SABER SWING 1 THROUGH 4! If you want to hear a sound more than others just add it again under a different number.
Hum/Idles:
To add custom Hum/Idles replace wpn_saber_loop with desired choice.
Alternate on/off:
To add alternate on/off sounds replace wpn_saber_ignite_on & wpn_saber_ignite_off
All sounds made & edited with pro editing software, you can upload it anywhere just give proper credits
